Who we are

What we collect, and why
Enquiries. When you use the contact form, ring us or email us, we receive what you give us: typically your name, email address, phone number, a message, and any plans or drawings you attach. We use these to answer your enquiry, visit or quote for the work, and carry it out if you go ahead. The legal basis is that these are steps you have asked us to take before entering a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us.
The chat box. The chat on this site is a simple helper that points you to our phone number and contact form. Nothing you type into it is sent to us or stored anywhere.
Website analytics. If you accept the cookie banner, we use Google Analytics to see which pages people visit and how they found the site, so we can improve it. This runs only with your consent, and you can withdraw it at any time using the button in the cookies section below.
Who handles it for us
These companies process data on our behalf, under their own contracts and security commitments:
- Cloudflare hosts this website and passes your form submission to us.
- Resend delivers form submissions to our inbox as email.
- INKON, the studio that built and maintains this website, has access to the site's systems in order to support it.
- Google provides the analytics described above, only if you accept it, and serves the fonts this site uses.
We do not sell your details, and we do not share them with anyone for marketing.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry emails for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry and any work that follows, including our records of that work. If you ask us to delete an enquiry that did not lead to any work, we will.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies unless you accept analytics. Your answer to the banner is stored in your own browser so we do not ask you every time.

Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, ask us to limit how we use it, or object to our using it. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

If we change how we use your data, we will update this page. The date at the top tells you when.
